Liquefied Natural Gas System for Heavy-Duty Trucks
The Westport GX engine offers class-leading emissions performance while maintaining equal horsepower, torque, and
efficiency to a diesel-fueled engine. The application of Westport high-pressure direct injection (HPDI) technology to the
Cummins ISX engine substantially reduces greenhouse gases (GHG) and other air contaminant emissions to well below standards
set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for 2007 heavy-duty on-road applications.

~20% less GHG
The Westport GX is fueled with liquefied natural gas (LNG)—a safe, cost effective, low carbon, and low emissions fuel.
Westport provides operators with fuel capacities ranging from 52 to 104 diesel equivalent gallons. With matching or better
fuel efficiency (depending on operation), vehicle range can be tailored to suit most operator applications.
The Westport GX is currently available in factory assembled Kenworth T800 LNG and Peterbilt 386, 387, and 367 models and
is offered for use in various applications including port drayage trucks, heavy-haul trucks,
refuse transfer, dump trucks, roll-offs, line-haul, and other vocational applications.
